What the nuke takes
- 30 kills in a row without dying, in a Free-for-All match.
- Only kills with your gun count. Kills from your killstreaks don't add to the streak.
- Die once and the streak goes back to zero.
- Reaching 30 is what earns the calling card. You can call the nuke in after that, but you don't have to.
The reward: the Ground Zero calling card
Reaching a nuke in Free-for-All unlocks the Ground Zero calling card, one of the rarest in MW4. With no teammates to cover you or trade kills, Free-for-All is where a 30-kill run is hardest, which is why so few players show it off.
Tips for the 30-kill run
- Use the gun you're most consistent with. Every one of the 30 kills has to come from it, so this isn't the time to level a new weapon.
- Run killstreaks that help you find players rather than kill them, like a U.A.V. Killstreak kills wouldn't count anyway.
- Hold strong positions and let players come to you, instead of running across the map into fights you can't see.
- Reload after every fight, never in the middle of one.
- The last ten kills are where most runs end. Slow down and play safe rather than throwing the streak away.
